“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” (Phil 2:3, NIV)

True Christian love puts the needs of others first, and we believe there are few better ways to express this love than in community service. It is a true honor to watch our students learn the joy of serving others, and working with each other to be Christ’s hands and feet in our neighborhoods.

Students at SSCCA are given the opportunity each year to share their Christmas Program with the residents of Integrace Fairhaven, a local retirement community. The SSCCA student body also enjoys spending a day each year harvesting vegetables for the needy at First Fruits Farm. SSCCA students participate in various canned food drives and enjoy supporting Franklin Graham’s Operation Christmas Child. Through these, and other outreaches, our students learn that it is truly “more blessed to give than receive.”

Our ultimate goal is that our students grow more than just intellectually. We want them to learn to have relationships with Jesus, and in doing so, learn how He wants to use us to express His love to the world.
